A New Ritual

Matt A Damn good stuff. I think the artist may be overstating the change in direction from his past work (which is all great); while there is certainly a bit more emphasis on the catchy riffs, they have always been there, and they work just as well here as they ever have. A natural progression coming from a very talented dude. The best extreme metal always retains a rock n' roll core.

RaddShreddy I really dig the new direction. Kind of sounds like more recent Enslaved but with way less cheese.

Riff Spreader Loving the change in direction. I’ve been a VR fan since day one, but this album sounds more fleshed out and confident than anything Dan has done in the past. VR has reached a new level here.

about

With this album, Void Ritual disregards its past for the sake of creating something all its own. Fans of previous Void Ritual material may find themselves unhappy with the change in direction.
